Project Submission Terms

You can submit a project under one of two plans:

• Free — your project is added to the catalog so people can discover it on the platform. No payment is required.
• Premium — a one-time fee of $40 USD. Includes everything in the Free plan, plus promotion in curated articles, X (Twitter) posts, and other relevant channels, as well as premium embeds.

The paid fee covers the time spent reviewing, preparing, publishing, and promoting your project beyond basic catalog listing. Premium is a one-time service fee, not a guarantee of a particular audience or result.

All payments for the Premium plan are final once work on the paid service has started, except where a refund is required by applicable law or expressly agreed in writing.

Once work has started, no refund is offered because the fee covers time and services already reserved or performed. We do not refund based on views, clicks, visitors, sales, rankings, or other results. If we cannot reasonably provide the paid service and have not substantially performed it, contact us promptly so we can review an appropriate remedy.

The Free plan does not involve any payment and therefore has no refund terms.

To submit a project, you must provide:

• Project title
• Tags
• Short description
• Project URL

You may optionally provide social links, limited to Twitter (X), YouTube, and a GitHub repository. Any of these are optional, and only the links you provide will be displayed.

Screenshots, formatting, and the final presentation of the project listing are prepared by the website owner in consultation with the client. You are responsible for ensuring that supplied materials may be used publicly.

The website owner may correct grammar, formatting, or layout without changing the overall meaning of the submitted information. We may reject or remove a submission that is unlawful, misleading, infringing, unsafe, or unsuitable for the catalog.

Custom embeds are submitted separately from projects. You create an embed (title and description), it is saved as a draft, and you send it for review from the submission page; no comment is required. Embeds are free, reviewed by the website owner, and become public on your profile and the embeds page only once published. A rejected embed can be edited and submitted again.

Under the Free plan, your project is listed in the catalog and can be discovered by visitors browsing the platform.

Under the Premium plan, the website owner will make reasonable efforts to publish and promote listed projects through the website and related channels where appropriate, including articles, X posts, and other platforms. Premium projects also receive premium embeds for use on websites and READMEs.

However, no guarantees are made regarding views, traffic, user engagement, sales, search engine rankings, or any other results.

By submitting a project, you confirm that:

• you are the owner of the project or embed content, or have permission to submit it;
• the information you provide is accurate;
• your project does not violate any applicable laws or the rights of third parties.

The website owner reserves the right to refuse publication or remove any project that is unlawful, misleading, offensive, or otherwise inappropriate.

Minor corrections after publication may be made at the discretion of the website owner.

Submitting a new or substantially modified project may require a new submission fee if you choose the Premium plan.

By submitting a project or custom embed, you grant EmbedCatalog a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, adapt for formatting, publish, display, distribute, and promote the submitted materials in connection with the catalog, embeds, articles, social posts, and related channels. You retain ownership of your project and materials.

Project listings, published embeds, your public profile, and upvote and view totals are public. We process account and submission information as described in the Privacy Notice. Do not submit confidential information or personal data that should not be published.
